Contract UX Researcher
Outside IR35: up to £450 a day

We’re looking for a detail-orientated, confident UX Researcher to join a growing SaaS business on a contract basis. This is a B2B2C platform with complex user journeys and multiple stakeholder needs, so you’ll need to be comfortable navigating ambiguity, shaping problems, and presenting insights at a senior level.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading qualitative UX research speaking to users, identifying behaviours and patterns, and turning insights into clear hypotheses.
- Defining the problem, you’ll uncover and frame the right questions.
- Developing and presenting UX theories and design decisions backed by research, communicating findings to senior stakeholders and board members clearly and confidently.
- Balancing the needs of clients vs. pipeline opportunities, ensuring both user and business goals are aligned.
- Working at pace in a collaborative environment.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a UX Researcher within SaaS or digital product environments (B2B or B2B2C).
- Strength in qualitative research methods such as interviews, usability testing, observational research.
- Ability to handle expectations and communicate with clarity at all levels, including senior leadership and board presentations.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills – you can turn insights into compelling narratives that drive decisions.
- A thoughtful, curious mindset with the confidence to stand by your research findings.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving team environment.
- Self-sufficient and able to work alone.
