Community Engagement Lead

About the Role:

My Client is seeking an experienced candidate to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of sustainable innovation by strengthening industry support for innovators, growing a thriving innovation community, and helping to remove barriers to bringing new solutions to market.

Through stakeholder engagement, strategic insight gathering, and event facilitation, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the innovation ecosystem is connected, informed, and empowered to drive the transition towards a greener sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of an action plan, ensuring alignment with industry needs and innovator feedback.
• Improve support for innovators at all levels, helping to remove barriers to deployment.
• Build and maintain relationships with innovators, industry leaders, and key stakeholders.
• Gather and analyse insights to inform strategic direction and operational improvements.
• Facilitate workshops, roundtables, and meetings to ensure innovators’ perspectives are heard.
• Collaborate with the communications team to develop engaging content that promotes green innovation initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in the regulated green industries.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidentiality with stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive team player.
• Skilled in facilitation, able to lead discussions and workshops effectively.
• Excellent written and personal skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Project Management Experience

Salary & Benefits:

• circa 45k, depending on experience.
• 25 days, plus the option to purchase additional leave.
