Design and scale HealthTech apps from scratch, working closely with a hands-on CTO, other designers, marketing team and founders to shape how products convert, monetise and scale. This is a high-impact role focused on onboarding, funnels and experimentation, using psychology, triggers, experimentation and data to turn app downloads into free-trial users. Current conversion sits around ~10%, the goal is 25–30% with best-in-class onboarding. You’ll work across multiple live apps, with several more launching this year. The team is ambitious, high-energy and fast-moving, with a strong work ethic and high standards. If you want to design products that directly move revenue and growth metrics, not just polish UI, this role will stretch you in the right way.
What you’ll do
- Hands on designing using Figma - modern, sleek design is a must have for this role
- Onboarding & activation: designing and continuously optimising flows to increase download to trial conversion
- Heavy A/B testing (copy, colour, UI, structure, sequencing)
- Designing funnels by acquisition source (e.g. TikTok, Meta)
- Paywalls & monetisation experiments to improve conversion rates
- Creating UI that translates to short-form social video
- Constantly analysing data using tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude
What you’ll need
- 2+ years’ experience in Product / UX / UI Design
- Strong experience with funnels, conversion and experimentation
- Consumer product experience (mobile apps helpful, but not essential)
- Comfortable running and analysing split tests / A/B testing
- Strong understanding of human psychology and decision-making
- Socially aware, understands what performs on TikTok / short-form video
- Confident communicator who can challenge ideas
About the company
This is a start-up innovation lab focused on building consumer HealthTech products. The team is led by a founder with a previous £50m+ successful exit, so the growth plan is ambitious and well-founded. Stock options are based on real precedent, giving you long-term upside. Beyond the salary, you'll have access to pension contributions, 25 days holiday (+BH) & future stock options - ensuring better financial security and well-being.
