We're working with a fast-scaling player in the EV charging space, backed by serious investment. They are a growing business who’ve gone from 4 people to 15 in under two years. They're mid-way through a phased migration onto a platform they now own outright, moving away from a third-party system. They've won more business than forecast, the existing product team is stretched, and they need someone strong enough to hit the ground running on a 6-month fixed term contract with potential to move into a permanent role.
Responsibilities:
- Owning the product roadmap, from discovery through to delivery
- Helping take the final phases of a platform migration live, and optimising what's already shipped
- Triaging and prioritising new feature commitments against real operational and customer needs
- Conducting competitor analysis, market validation and review user research to understand user needs, pain points, and opportunities
- Running discovery - sitting with ops teams, joining user testing, speaking to customers
- Translating the product vision into actionable product requirements and roadmaps
- Partner with Engineering and UX/UI leadership to ensure alignment on product vision, strategy, and execution
Experience:
- Strong core product management skills
- Product led thinking and able to identify and plan changes to the product roadmap
- Previous experience in a start-up or scale-up environment with strong ownership of the product
- Experience in a SaaS consumer facing application OR experience in a B2B platform
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Experience using product analytics, user research, and A/B testing to drive decisions
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and integration technologies (e.g., APIs, websockets) (desirable)
- EV, energy, renewables, automotive or infrastructure sector experience (desirable)
