We’re partnering with a global organisation within the publishing and information services sector to hire a Senior Business Analyst into a high-impact transformation team. This is a strategic role sitting within a central Centre of Excellence, focused on driving continuous improvement, optimising workflows, and delivering large-scale business change across complex, end-to-end processes.
The Role
As a Business Analyst, you’ll act as a subject matter expert within a key business area, working cross-functionally with stakeholders across operations, technology, customer, and commercial teams. You’ll lead on identifying inefficiencies, shaping future-state processes, and delivering solutions that improve performance, scalability, and customer outcomes. This is a highly visible role with strong stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to influence strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and problem definition across complex operational workflows
- Map current and future state processes, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities
- Gather, define, and prioritise business and system requirements
- Drive process optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
- Support delivery of change initiatives, including implementation and adoption
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions
- Produce documentation, data analysis, and reporting to support decision-making
- Contribute to testing, training, and rollout of new processes and systems
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Business Analyst / Process Improvement / Transformation role
- Strong background in process optimisation, continuous improvement, or operational transformation
- Experience working across complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex problems
- Experience delivering change within large-scale programmes or strategic projects
- Familiarity with change management principles and methodologies
- Desirable: Business Analysis certification
- Exposure to Agile or formal project methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Scrum)
- Experience working with workflow systems, automation, or data-led environments
