We’re working with a well-established digital organisation that is looking to bring in a Strategic Product Analyst on an initial 3-month contract to support a key phase of product and commercial discovery. This is a high-urgency hire, interviews are moving quickly, and we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
The Role
You’ll act as the critical link between business strategy and technical delivery, operating in a role similar to a Product Owner. This is a hands-on, commercially focused position where you’ll help shape direction, prioritise opportunities, and ensure delivery is aligned with real business value.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving commercial strategy – identifying high-value opportunities across digital/e-commerce capabilities and prioritising based on ROI
- Leading discovery – running workshops to uncover business needs, define user value, and map opportunities
- Assessing feasibility – validating ideas against technical realities and identifying dependencies or risks
- Shaping backlogs & roadmaps – translating insights into structured, prioritised delivery plans
- Aligning stakeholders – working across business, tech, and design to drive decisions and maintain momentum
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience operating as a Product Owner or Senior Product Analyst within complex digital environments
- Strong commercial mindset – able to connect product decisions to revenue and business outcomes
- Expertise in discovery and shaping ambiguous problems into clear plans
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery, backlog management, and user story creation
- Confident workshop facilitator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders
- Ability to produce clear, compelling artefacts (roadmaps, business cases, prioritisation frameworks)

Hybrid working – Manchester-based (regular on-site collaboration expected)
