Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will support all aspects of club operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, professionalism and efficiency are maintained across the business. You will act as deputy to the General Manager when required and work closely with department heads to deliver an exceptional member and visitor experience.

As we continue to invest in our facilities, people and member experience, we are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and highly organised Operations Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in golf club management, working alongside the General Manager and playing a key role in the day-to-day operation and future success of the Club.
The Role:
- Support the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the Club.
- Lead by example, promoting exceptional customer service throughout the Club.
- Assist with the management and development of all operational departments.
- Support membership recruitment, retention and engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate club competitions, society days and corporate events.
- Oversee administration, member communications and office procedures.
- Assist with budgeting, financial reporting and commercial performance.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, employment legislation and Club policies.
- Build positive relationships with members, visitors, staff and suppliers.
- Deputise for the General Manager during periods of absence.
About you:
- An enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience within golf, hospitality, leisure or private members’ club environments will be an advantage.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- An effective communicator who enjoys building relationships with members and colleagues.
- Competent using Microsoft Office and modern business systems.
- Flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
- Experience with golf club management software Intelligent Golf would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Experience with Xero accounting software will be advantageous but not essential as training will be offered.
What We Offer:
- Working pattern: This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), normally worked Monday to Friday, with flexibility and some weekend work as required.
- Remuneration: A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered, depending on experience.
