Do you have?

  • Proven experience in manufacturing both bespoke and production furniture and cabinetry to a high standard?
  • Previous experience of operating a CNC flatbed router machine in a production and or workshop environment?
  • Skills working with wood, sheet materials, and some metalwork?
  • The ability to accurately interpret and work from technical drawings?
  • Proven hand skills - working with wood, sheet materials, and some metalwork.
  • Proven skills - confident using large workshop machines such as press machine, table saws, crosscut saws, surface planer and thicknesser, spindle moulder?
  • Proven sanding and finishing techniques skills?
  • Great work ethic
  • City and Guilds, BTEC, Apprenticeship time served or equivalent in furniture making - desirable
  • Are able to get to our workshop at Vantage Business Park, Bloxham near Banbury.

The opportunity

Due to continued business growth, we are looking for someone to join our fabrications team on a 3 month fixed term contract. You would be creating bespoke products for creative media applications - such as esports arenas, podcast desks, bespoke products for recording studios, edit suites, production galleries, dubbing theatres, television and film studios. We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced CNC Operator & Cabinet Maker to join the team with the potential to become a permanent position.

The deal

  • 3-month contract, full-time role

  • Reports to Workshop Manager
  • Hourly rate £15 - £20 phr DOE
  • Hours of work: 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday [42.5 hrs/week]
