AI ML Engineer

Digital Futures is undertaking a planned recruitment programme to strengthen how we design, build and scale AI systems for major private and public sector organisations in the UK. We are making multiple appointments across engineering, product, data, architecture, assurance and security to meet confirmed demand and deepen our delivery capacity.

Overview

Move AI from exploration to production. We deliver agentic automation, AI‑assisted decisioning, GenAI platforms and the data foundations that make them resilient, governable and cost‑effective.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimise and deploy machine learning models powering AI agents and intelligent systems.
• Develop ML models using libraries such as Scikit‑learn, Hugging Face and LangChain.
• Lead model training, tuning and deployment activities.
• Implement MLOps pipelines enabling continuous integration and delivery of ML models.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for integration and system enhancements.
• Research and prototype emerging ML techniques.
• Mentor and share knowledge actively.
• All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and will be expected to work from the office 4‑days a week.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working within technology and/or data.
• Stakeholder management.
• Strong team leadership and management skills.
• Experience with machine learning theory and applications, NLP, generative AI, Python, ML frameworks, MLOps, innovation and collaboration.
