Digital Extremes is seeking a Network and Security Technician to join our IT team in London, Ontario. The position requires on‑site presence at the studio and a strong technical background to support secure, high‑availability services for millions of players.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive support for internal stakeholders regarding connectivity and security concerns.
  • Address and resolve incoming tickets related to network performance and security systems.
  • Deliver technical guidance to staff for troubleshooting network‑related obstacles.
  • Manage user accounts on a variety of network and security platforms: 2FA, remote access, wireless, VoIP, etc.
  • Engage in active monitoring of network and security platforms to uphold the integrity of our high‑availability services.
  • Maintain a consistent onsite presence at our studio location.
  • Demonstrate superior interpersonal communication and the capacity to manage diverse priorities in a rapid‑deployment setting.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of core network and security protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
  • Familiarity with critical security systems, including Two‑Factor Authentication (2FA) and network and security monitoring platforms.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Completion of a program in network/systems administration is preferred.
