James Carrera of Digital Data Foundation is sourcing an experienced LPM to provide matter specific guidance and LPM technology / knowledge management tools to deliver a streamlined service to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide LPM guidance on best practices, tools, techniques, roles and responsibilities
- Work with lawyers to draft and submit budget proposals and staffing plans
- Identify issues as they arise, options for resolution and course correction for matters that are beginning to diverge from work plans and/or budget
- Track and analyse costs against budget
- Manage matter expectations with team members and client
- Develop matter work plans; plan and track matter timelines & milestones
- Build relationships and foster a collaborative approach to working with clients across departments
- Continuous improvement to the LPM processes and support the change management of implementing these LPM processes
Experience
- Educated to degree level (preferably in Law) with at least 5 years progressive experience in Legal Project Management
- Experience in dealing with and building key relationships with senior business stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities cross-functionally to challenging deadlines
- Knowledge of extranets, online data rooms, collaboration tools and SharePoint sites
- Strong communication skills, able to interact at all levels key negotiation and influencing
- Financial reports analysis, providing financial analysis and insight of varying levels of complexity
