James Carrera of Digital Data Foundation is sourcing an experienced Data Developer to work with financial data for a major professional services organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Data analysis and modelling and assist in the design of data solutions
  • Develop a detailed knowledge of the data sources within the finance and related applications
  • Interpret requests and develop the necessary skills to deliver the information using the most appropriate solution and in a clear and concise format
  • Develop a strong working relationship with key stakeholders and become a go to person for quick, accurate and understandable solutions
  • Provide more than task orientated delivery, using problem solving skills to deliver practical solutions and analysis
  • Contribute to the on-going development of the firm's financial and reporting applications

Experience

  • With extensive experience in data analysis and development, data modelling and data warehousing, you will have;
  • Expert in SQL and a good knowledge of MS SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS
  • Design and development of SQL data warehousing and ETL routines
  • SQL Server Database Tuning and Query Optimization techniques
  • Knowledge of data governance practices, data management and data quality
  • Good communication skills - particularly the ability to translate technical and complex detail into understandable language
