James Carrera of Digital Data Foundation is sourcing an experienced Data Developer to work with financial data for a major professional services organisation.
Responsibilities
- Data analysis and modelling and assist in the design of data solutions
- Develop a detailed knowledge of the data sources within the finance and related applications
- Interpret requests and develop the necessary skills to deliver the information using the most appropriate solution and in a clear and concise format
- Develop a strong working relationship with key stakeholders and become a go to person for quick, accurate and understandable solutions
- Provide more than task orientated delivery, using problem solving skills to deliver practical solutions and analysis
- Contribute to the on-going development of the firm's financial and reporting applications
Experience
- With extensive experience in data analysis and development, data modelling and data warehousing, you will have;
- Expert in SQL and a good knowledge of MS SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS
- Design and development of SQL data warehousing and ETL routines
- SQL Server Database Tuning and Query Optimization techniques
- Knowledge of data governance practices, data management and data quality
- Good communication skills - particularly the ability to translate technical and complex detail into understandable language
