Are you a qualified Management Accountant looking for your next step with a market-leading business services organisation? We're exclusively partnering with a well-established and growing company based near Newcastle to find a commercially minded finance professional ready to make a real impact.
This is a fantastic chance to join a respected business at a time of continued growth. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll play a key role in producing accurate, timely management accounts and providing insightful analysis that drives strategic decision-making across the organisation.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis with meaningful commentary
- Supporting the month-end close process and maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations
- Partnering with non-finance stakeholders to deliver financial insight and challenge costs
- Contributing to process improvement and finance transformation initiatives
The successful Management Accountant will:
- Be qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) — QBE candidates with relevant experience also considered
- Have proven experience in a management accounts or similar finance role
- Have strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems
- Have excellent communication skills — able to present financial data clearly to non-finance audiences
- Have a proactive, analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail
