Are you a NEBOSH-accredited HSE Compliance Advisor looking for a new challenge in the rail sector? We have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated HSE Compliance Advisor to join a well-established organisation in the rail sector. This is a crucial role for a professional who is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance. The Role As the HSE Compliance Advisor, you\’ll be the linchpin of our client\’s compliance efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the organisation remains fully compliant with all relevant legislation and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, GDPR, licensing requirements, and environmental protection laws. You will be proactive in monitoring for any regulatory updates, ensuring our client is always ahead of the curve. A key part of the role will be the maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS). You will be instrumental in organising and leading the annual ISO audits, guaranteeing continued certification to ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety). The Ideal Candidate We are seeking a NEBOSH-accredited professional with significant experience in a similar role. You must have proven experience within the rail sector and a deep understanding of its unique challenges and compliance requirements. This role requires someone who is not only a technical expert but also a great communicator and a highly organised individual. You\’ll need to be a self-starter who can work independently and lead with confidence. Due to the nature of the role and the location of the work, you will need to be based close to the Leeds area.
