Are you an experienced Health & Safety Manager looking for a new challenge? We\’re partnered with a leading organisation in the construction and property sector to find a highly competent and proactive professional to join their team.

Salary: £55-65K + car/car allowance + benefits

This is a key role where you\’ll be responsible for overseeing all health and safety procedures across various sites. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the company\’s excellent safety record and fostering a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
  • Lead health and safety training for all staff.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions.
  • Advise senior management on all H&S matters.

About You:

  • You must hold a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
  • You should have extensive experience in a Health and Safety Management role.
  • Experience within the construction, plant hire, property or housing sector is highly desirable, though candidates with a strong background in other relevant industries will also be considered.
  • You must be based within a commutable distance of Burton-on-Trent.
  • You\’re a strong communicator with the ability to influence and engage with people at all levels.
