Our client, a leading safety consultancy, is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring full compliance within a fast-paced and rewarding environment. The Role As the new HSE Advisor, you will be a vital part of the team, responsible for the implementation and management of the company\’s Document Management System (DMS). This isn\’t just a desk job—you\’ll be the champion of safety on the front lines, leading regular awareness talks, conducting thorough audits, and carrying out on-site inspections and reviews. Your core responsibilities will include: Implementing the Document Management System (DMS) and ensuring its effective use across the company. Conducting regular awareness talks, audits, and on-site inspections to ensure compliance. Promoting and upholding the Company HSEQ Policy at all times. Providing expert advice and support to staff on all HSEQ matters. This is a varied and engaging role that offers the chance to make a real impact. What We\’re Looking For The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and knowledgeable HSE professional with a proven track record. You must be an excellent communicator, capable of engaging with staff at all levels and inspiring a commitment to safety. Essential Requirements: Proven experience in a Health and Safety role. Strong understanding of HSEQ policies and procedures. Excellent communication and presentation skills. A proactive and meticulous approach to your work. The ability to live within commuting distance of central Portsmouth, as this is a site-based position. The Package Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
