The Role
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
- Producing accurate, timely financial reports and commentary for senior stakeholders
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Delivering project and client profitability analysis to inform commercial decisions
- Managing month‑end and year‑end close processes
- Assisting with VAT returns and statutory compliance
- Overseeing accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
