About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Application Support Specialist to join this well-established and highly regarded software platform. In this fully remote position, you’ll play a critical role in supporting and maintaining our cloud-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of our platform and deliver top-notch service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced application support for cloud-based services, ensuring system performance and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, and RDS.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues using programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement best practices and optimize cloud solutions.
- Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analyses, and implement preventative measures.
About You
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 3 years of experience in cloud-based application support, with expertise in AWS services.
- Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure and tools.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a remote environment.
- Full eligibility to work in the UK (you must currently reside in the UK).
