Job Overview As a Property Inventory Specialist, you’re part of a team that’s passionate about helping our loyal business customers succeed.
You lay down the foundations of great relationships between tenants and landlords by conducting property inventory assessments where you report on the decoration, functional and cleaning orders of a property and prove your importance by escalating concerns, offering reassurance and confirming the condition of a property.
Responsibilities Perform property inventory reports (check‑ins, check‑outs or mid‑term inspections) with great attention to detail, spotting and reporting defects or discrepancies, reviewing the working order of appliances, collecting meter readings, and testing functional items.
Use our bespoke software and app solutions to fulfill your inspections.
Escalate noticeable maintenance and cleanliness concerns to aid reactive decision‑making and improve property and tenancy turnaround.
Serve as a trustworthy point of contact for our team and our customers to process enquiries promptly and accurately.
Build professional relationships within the team and at client offices, demonstrating appetite for success.
Deliver inspections across various site locations within London (E15, SE1, SE13) and have a car or be comfortable traveling via public transport.
Maintain business standards, follow guidance, and demonstrate hihouse's diplomatic, problem‑solving, and resourceful attitude.
Qualifications Available to work on a self‑employed flexible schedule, including most Saturdays, the beginning and end of each month, and public holidays, with a minimum of 4 days per week.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear and accurate descriptions.
Comfortable using digital tools on smartphones or tablets.
Observer mindset understanding nuances between parties involved.
Minimum endurance for a largely lone‑standing role.
Confidence working independently with always‑on support.
Provide a copy of a basic Disclosure more jobs completed per day can increase income through economies of scale, especially May–October when an average of 4–6+ jobs per day may be offered.
