We own and run a series of highly regarded industry conferences, including Scotland's largest annual tech event DIGIT Expo.
We're looking for an experienced Conference/Expo Event Manager to help lead the planning and delivery of our annual events programme. If you have love for logistics, thrive under pressure, and take pride in delivering well-run delegate experiences - then we want to hear from you.
The Why
This role will put you front-and-centre in organising the most high-profile tech events in the country. The position will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, and an incredible opportunity for someone with the ambition and drive to make a mark on the Scottish events ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 8-10 events per year
- Source and secure suitable venues
- Coordinate logistics such as catering, AV, and signage
- Manage event staffing and scheduling
- Act as a liaison for speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors
- Manage delegate communication, registration, and badging process
- Oversee the setup of conference tech and AV
- Update the delegate app with conference information
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in event managing conferences and/or exhibitions (3 years minimum)
- Strong project management, scheduling, and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using CRM & event technology (e.g. HubSpot, PowerPoint, scanning tools)
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving ability
- Highly organised, structured, and detail orientated
- Experience running a small events team and delegating tasks
