The Mission:
Workday is the "brain" of the enterprise, and Generative AI is the "spark" that’s about to make it a whole lot smarter. We are looking for a Generative AI & Workday Consultant who doesn’t just know how to configure a business process, but knows how to reinvent it using Large Language Models (LLMs) and intelligent automation. You’ll be at the bleeding edge of HR and Finance tech, helping our clients move past standard automation and into the era of Workday Illuminate and custom AI-driven workflows. If you can bridge the gap between "technical AI architecture" and "functional HR excellence," we want to talk.
Core Responsibilities:
- AI Strategy & Integration: Design and implement Generative AI solutions within the Workday ecosystem, focusing on Workday Extend, Prism Analytics, and Orchestrate.
- Prompt Engineering & Optimization: Develop and refine prompts for internal AI agents to automate document generation, candidate screening, and employee self-service.
- Solution Architecture: Work with stakeholders to identify "AI-ready" use cases—such as automated job description generation, sentiment analysis on performance reviews, or predictive flight-risk modeling.
- Data Governance: Ensure all AI implementations adhere to UK GDPR and ethical AI standards, maintaining the highest levels of data privacy and security.
- Technical Consulting: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday AI & ML features, staying ahead of bi-annual release cycles to advise clients on new capabilities.
- Custom App Development: Use Workday Extend to build bespoke apps that leverage external AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure AI) while keeping data within the Workday environment.
Your Technical Toolkit:
- Deep knowledge of HCM, Finance, or Recruitment. Workday Extend certification is a massive plus.
- Experience with LLMs (GPT-4, Claude), Prompt Engineering, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript, and experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics or BigQuery to prep data for AI consumption.
