Linux System Administrator

A key client of ours is looking for a Linux System Administrator for a long term hybrid project in Cambridge. Contract Duration: 9-month initial contract (very possible extension) Location: Cambridge, Hybrid (3 days on site per week) Inside IR35 40 hours a week / Full-time Experience running and maintaining on-premise data centres Strong experience with Linux (Ubuntu / Centos) Experience enterprise storage including ISCSI and SAN technology Prior experience using automation tools (Ansible, Foreman etc) Knowledge of IP networking, DNS, and firewalling Experience with Python, shell scripts and command-line tools Knowledge of containerisation and related orchestration technologies Demonstrable experience of remediation projects, ideally within a PCI-DSS certified environment. Strong verbal & written communication skills and natural willingness to collaborate across teams and organisations.
