To lead DIGI2AL’s internal technology function, ensuring the organisation’s systems, tooling and technology services support secure growth, operational efficiency and an exceptional employee experience. The Head of IT is responsible for shaping and delivering the company’s technology roadmap, maintaining a secure and resilient technology environment, and enabling the effective adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-powered tools and automation, to improve collaboration, productivity and business performance.
What you’ll be doing
Whilst this role carries ownership of the company’s IT function, it remains a hands-on position. The successful candidate will be expected to both set direction and roll their sleeves up to deliver. There are no planned direct reports in the short term, so success in this role will require equal comfort operating at both strategic and operational levels.

IT Operations & Service Management
- Lead the delivery of reliable, secure and efficient IT services across the business.
- Maintain responsibility for the day-to-day administration and operation of the company’s technology platforms and end-user environments.
- Ensure employees have the tools, systems and support required to work effectively.

Productivity, Collaboration & Automation
- Own the company’s productivity and collaboration technology ecosystem.
- Drive adoption of tools and practices that improve employee productivity and organisational effectiveness.
- Evaluate and implement opportunities for automation and AI-enabled ways of working.
- Promote effective use of technology across the organisation through training, guidance and support.
Security & Compliance

Supplier & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with technology suppliers, service providers and support partners.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure services deliver value, reliability and security.
- Support technology procurement, licence management and budget planning activities.

Your personal qualities
This is not a traditional corporate Head of IT role. We are looking for someone who can think strategically, operate independently and remain hands-on when required.
