A vendor-agnostic UK Crown Commercial Services accredited supplier, we have delivered over 120 cloud-hosted digital services across the public sector, working in partnership with clients to research and develop outcomes and services spanning artificial intelligence, data science, low code and complex code software engineering, cyber security, cloud engineering, and user-centred design.

We are building a team to support a new opportunity providing Engineering and Technical support for our data fusion platform. This team will drive the operational implementation of this low-TRL product, bridging the gap between tactical edge sensors in low-bandwidth environments and strategic HQs running enterprise analytics.
- Python Engineering: High proficiency in Python for microservices, API development (FastAPI/Flask), data processing, and backend service development.
- Docker & Container Orchestration: Deep knowledge of containerisation using Docker, multi-stage builds, minimal base images (for bandwidth-constrained deployments), and orchestration (Kubernetes/K3s) at the tactical edge.
- Palantir Platform Integration: Building integrations against Palantir APIs/SDKs, custom widgets/functions, and webhooks to extend core platform capabilities.
- Disconnected / Edge Architectures: Designing resilient software for DIL (Disconnected, Intermittent, Limited bandwidth) environments, including store-and-forward mechanisms and offline sync.
- CI/CD & Security Practices: Writing secure code adhering to MoD cyber security standards, automated testing, and building pipelines that package software into deployable Docker artifacts.
The Experience You'll Bring:
- Development & Tech: Python, Microservices, REST APIs, FastAPI, Flask, Asynchronous Programming, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- DevOps & Deployment: Docker, Docker Compose, Multi-Stage Builds, Kubernetes, K3s, Edge Computing, CI/CD Pipelines, Store-and-Forward Architecture.
- Integration & Security: Palantir SDKs/APIs, Webhooks, Secure Coding Practices, Defense Cyber Protection, High Availability, Low-Bandwidth Optimisation.
Important Information:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Security Requirements: Minimum clearance required is SC - due to the nature of the role and the security requirements the post holder must be a British Citizen
- Days on Site: 2-3
- Travel: The role would be ideally based in London but we are willing to consider applications from across the UK. There will be a requirement for travel to client sites
- SFIA Level: 525 days holiday increasing annually up to a maximum of 30 days
