We are building a team to support a new opportunity providing Engineering and Technical support for our data fusion platform. This team will drive the operational implementation of this low-TRL product, bridging the gap between tactical edge sensors in low-bandwidth environments and strategic HQs running enterprise analytics.
Requirements
- Ellicitation & Mapping: Translating operational military doctrine and tactical user needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Data & Workflow Mapping: Documenting current-state data flows across command nodes and defining target-state fused data workflows.
- Palantir Ontology Alignment: Working with Data Specialists to map real-world military assets, events, and relationships into the Palantir object model.
- Traceability & Compliance: Maintaining traceability between operational requirements, technical delivery tasks, and security/compliance standards.
- Gap & Feasibility Analysis: Identifying missing data attributes across feeds and assessing technical feasibility against military operational constraints.
The experience you'll bring
- Requirements & Analysis: Requirements Engineering, MoD Capability Mapping, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria (Gherkin), Gap Analysis, Process Mapping, Target Operating Model (TOM).
- Data & Domain: Data Dictionary Creation, Operational Workflows, C2 (Command & Control) Workflows, Ontology Alignment, Data Traceability.
- Stakeholder & Governance: Military Stakeholder Engagement, Subject Matter Expert (SME) Facilitation, MoD Procurement Awareness, DefStan Compliance.
Important Information
- Start Date: ASAP
- Security Requirements: Minimum clearance required is SC - due to the nature of the role and the security requirements the post holder must be a British Citizen
- Days on Site: 2-3
- Travel: The role would be ideally based in London but we are willing to consider applications from across the UK. There will be a requirement for travel to client sites
- SFIA Level: 5
- 25 days holiday increasing annually up to a maximum of 30 days
