Our client is a leading international construction consultancy firm with offices across the Middle East in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Employing in excess of 600 professional staff in the MENA region, they provide professional project management, cost consultancy, engineering and FM services to a mixture of both public and private sector clients.
We are seeking multiple experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors/Commercial Managers to join our client’s team on a secondment to the ground-breaking $500 billion NEOM project in Saudi Arabia. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the most ambitious and transformative development projects globally.
- Provide high-level commercial and contractual management on NEOM’s multi-billion-dollar development projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and financial objectives.
- Lead all aspects of cost management, including preparation, monitoring, and reporting on budgets and project forecasts.
- Oversee project cash flow, financial risk management, and value engineering to optimize cost efficiency and maximize project outcomes.
- Conduct detailed assessments and valuations for work completed, ensuring accurate payments and contractor compliance.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and contractors, resolving any contractual or financial disputes efficiently.
- Prepare regular reports on project financials, risks, and commercial status for senior leadership.
- Maintain strict adherence to industry standards, NEOM’s objectives, and best practices for financial stewardship.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably on large-scale commercial, infrastructure, or mixed-use developments.
- Proven expertise in cost control, contract management, risk analysis, and procurement.
Accommodation is provided on a single status basis in addition to tax-free salary and is inclusive of all messing, utilities and local transportation. 5 Day working week. Flights & medical provided by the employer in addition to 30 calendar days leave + national holidays. Start date is asap subject to client approval.
