Due to our continued success in the digital arena, we are now looking for a Delivery Lead to join us on one of our digital transformation projects with our public-sector customer. This position will be based in Leeds. This is an initial 3-6-month contract opportunity, outside IR35 on an agile government project within the GDS guidelines. Candidates must be able to start end of November.

Rate: £550-600 (Depending on experience)

Duration: 6 months

Start Date: 26th November 2018

Main responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently
  • Commercial management of accounts
  • Managing a range of portfolios
  • Define the roadmap for any given product and translate this into user stories
  • Lead the collaborative and dynamic planning process
  • Prioritising the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team
  • Build, manage and develop specialist digital teams
  • Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage (Alpha/beta/production)
  • Actively participating in the Delivery Manager community, sharing and re-applying skills and knowledge and bringing in best practice.

Skills and experience

It’s essential that you have:

  • Proven experience in delivering digital projects and products
  • Proven experience using a range of Agile methods
  • Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity
  • Understanding of the digital landscape
  • A passion for building, managing and developing multi-disciplinary digital teams
  • Previous experience in the public sector with GDS assessments
