We at Difrent, a digital consultancy, are excited to announce that an opportunity has arisen for an Automation Tester to join our rapidly expanding team on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will be joining one of our exciting discovery projects with our public-sector customer based in Newcastle.

As the automation tester, you will ensure that the entire end product works correctly, i.e. all the systems involved, and their interfaces, conform to requirements. The candidate should have good functional/API/Automation/Performance Testing knowledge.

Essential Skills
  • Selenium, Webdriver or similar - 2+ years
  • Django Behave or similar - 2+ years
  • Python (Essential)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of API structures xml, json, or similar - 2+ years
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Docker
  • Browser developer tools - 2+ years
  • GIT - 1+ year
Desirable Skills
  • Understanding of CI server Jenkins, TeamCity, Travis or similar
  • Understanding of accessibility testing
  • BackstopJS
  • Unit Testing
  • SharePoint
