Key Responsibilities
- Works with nominated senior business change leads to review business change plans and define and capture needs and map these to technology requirements.
- Develops solution designs for changes, in consultation with Business Analyst, Developers, and Engineers.
- Keeps up to date with industry trends and technologies, relevant to their product area, working closely with leading vendors.
- Works closely with the Technology Office and Shared Services, to exploit new technology accelerators, to reduce implementation cost, to improve service and/or time to deliver change.
- Performs reviews and assurance of design and build activity to ensure alignment to the target blueprint and designs throughout the development lifecycle, for nominated products and services.
- Drives consistent adoption of new and improved ways of working across all staff within their product line.
- Draws on an extensive knowledge of technology as well as deep expertise in a number of disciplines, including product development methodologies and end-to-end lifecycle management of line of business applications.
- Supports Product Owners, setting the technology direction for IT Services in collaboration with the Technology Office, Shared Services, and Infrastructure Technology teams.
- Preparing the technology blueprints, roadmaps and strategy required to achieve ICT.
- Engages with a complex community of stakeholders, including senior technologists, thought leaders and business leaders from ICT.
