Job Vacancy: Healthcare Assistant Days

Location: Hengist Field Care Home in Sittingbourne, Kent

Contracted hours: 44 hours available (to include - every other weekend free, as applicable), 8am - 8pm

Hourly rate of pay: £13.00

Nellsar is committed to developing and training our staff in order to ensure high quality care is provided to our residents and the successful candidate will receive on-going training and development with opportunities for progression within the Company, including apprenticeships for new and existing staff.

You will have the opportunity to excel whilst:

  • Ensuring that residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing.
  • Ensuring care plans, assessments and risk assessments and other care documentation in place to support residents are followed accordingly.
  • Being responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of residents.
  • Maintaining the residents' independence, privacy, and dignity always.
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all care given, onto our software package (handheld devices).
  • Ensuring Infection Control procedures are always adhered to.
