Position: Sales Manager – Government & Defence
About the Role:
We are hiring a Sales Manager – Government & Defence to drive strategic sales within UK government and defence markets. This role focuses on promoting a holistic communications portfolio—including maritime NAVCOM systems, airtime solutions, and smart services—across a range of government and defence-related clients.
You will be instrumental in identifying new programme opportunities, managing key accounts, and supporting future-proofed communications infrastructure in secure and mission-critical environments.

Location:
UK-based | Minimum 2 days/week office presence (Redhill, Surrey)
Extensive UK and international travel required (up to 2 weeks at a time)
Flexibility beyond standard office hours is expected
Key Responsibilities:

Develop new business and manage existing relationships across the UK Gov/Def customer base

Promote a full range of products, including hardware, airtime, and smart service plans

Collaborate closely with Business Development and Technical Services teams

Liaise with internal service delivery to ensure high-quality fulfilment

Build deep relationships across all levels of nominated customers

Handle assigned sales enquiries and proposals

Draft account plans, quotations, forecasts, and customer contracts

Maintain CRM and sales records dynamically

Communicate customer feedback to influence product and service development

Represent the company at exhibitions, industry seminars, and client meetings
Candidate Profile:
Essential Requirements:

Eligibility to obtain and retain UK SC Security Clearance

Minimum 3 years of sales team management experience

Strong commercial awareness and customer-first mindset

Deep experience in selling maritime NAVCOM solutions

Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging engineers and C-level decision-makers
