The Opportunity

We are supporting a specialist Environmental Engineering and Consulting organisation that delivers Fire Safety and Compliance services to a major multinational corporate and banking environment in Central London. Due to continued growth, we are seeking Fire Risk Assessors and Fire Safety Consultants with strong practical fire safety experience to support a high-profile corporate client portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to work within a prestigious and highly regulated environment, supporting fire safety compliance, risk management and life safety programmes across occupied buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Fire Risk Assessments across occupied commercial and corporate environments
  • Review and assess fire safety compliance against current legislation and guidance
  • Identify fire hazards and provide practical recommendations for risk reduction
  • Support clients with fire safety strategies, compliance programmes and remediation plans
  • Carry out fire safety audits, inspections and site assessments
  • Review fire alarm systems, passive fire protection measures and means of escape provisions
  • Support emergency planning and fire safety governance activities
  • Produce high-quality technical reports and recommendations
  • Engage with facilities teams, contractors, consultants and client stakeholders
  • Support ongoing fire safety improvement initiatives across the client portfolio

Essential Experience

  • Practical Fire Risk Assessment experience within commercial, corporate, retail, healthcare or similar occupied environments
  • Experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments independently
  • Strong understanding of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order
  • Experience producing technical reports and recommendations
  • Knowledge of passive fire protection, fire doors, compartmentation and fire alarm systems
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full right to work in the UK

Highly Desirable Qualifications

The client places significant importance on recognised fire safety qualifications and certifications. Candidates should ideally hold one or more of the following:
