Location: Scotland, Central Belt
About the Role: Join a growing team delivering Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) across low-risk premises. Full training and mentoring are provided with clear progression pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned & reactive FRAs on low-risk sites; identify hazards & recommend controls.
- Produce clear, compliant reports with prioritised action plans.
- Advise clients on UK fire safety legislation & guidance.
- Liaise with facilities teams, contractors and stakeholders to drive compliance.
- Keep CPD up to date and follow internal QA/validation processes.
Requirements:
- Any fire-related certification/training, e.g. QNUK Level 3 FRA, NEBOSH Fire Safety, FSRAC L3, IFE CPD, IFSM membership, or similar.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/occasional overnights.
- Good communication, organisation and report-writing skills.
- Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn—recent entrants welcome (retail/operations/H&S backgrounds considered with fire training).
Nice to have (not essential):
- IFE/IFSM membership, familiarity with FRA templates/action plans, basic understanding of active & passive fire protection.
