Azure Cloud Engineer (Senior, Hands‐On)Duration: 3-6 Months

Role OverviewOur client is looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to support and maintain its Azure environment. This is a hands‐on delivery role with responsibility for cloud operations, DevOps tooling, and deployment, alongside mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and support live Azure environments

Build, run, and improve Azure DevOps pipelines

Manage deployments and release processes

Ensure stability, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure

Support onboarding and train/upskill junior engineers

Act as a practical, reliable delivery resource rather than an architecture‐only role

Required Experience

Strong hands‐on experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer

Solid experience with Azure DevOps tooling and CI/CD

Experience running and maintaining production Azure environments

Strong understanding of MS365‐driven cloud ecosystems

Senior enough to mentor others while remaining hands‐on

Microsoft‐centric skillset essential

Nice to Have

Experience in regulated, secure, or mission‐critical environments

Infrastructure‐as‐Code exposure (e.g. ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
