We’re looking for a proactive Plant and Equipment Manager to take ownership of our plant and equipment function, ensuring all assets are tracked, allocated, and off-hired in a timely fashion. This role is central to maintaining operational efficiency, reducing unnecessary costs, and delivering accurate reporting across the business.
What We Expect of You:
- Oversee the daily operations, ensuring plant and equipment are properly tracked, allocated to projects, and off-hired promptly to avoid unnecessary costs.
- Drive cost control through effective utilisation, supply chain management, and clear, accurate reporting to senior management.
- Coordinate against operational work schedules to optimize efficiency, ensuring all necessary cost coding and documentation are in place.
- Collaborate with operational teams to drive continuous improvement and enhance quality and support robust field team operations.
- Maintain operational excellence by conducting inspections, monitoring usage, minimizing waste, and maintaining stock availability.
- Business travel to our depot locations is required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience in plant, equipment, or stock management (5+ years preferred).
- Skilled in cost control, reporting, and system-driven asset management.
- Proven people management ability.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and plant/stock management systems.
- Driving Licence essential; IOSH Managing Safely desirable.
