Responsibilities include conducting mechanical assessments on GCU vehicles and plant to determine repair needs, damages, and required parts. Perform repairs and servicing on GCU-owned vehicles and plant, completing garage repair, service sheets, and defect rectifications. Carry out function tests on plant equipment before issuing it to teams and manage the GCU Workshop Tagging System for proper storage and quarantine. Ensure the safe use of workshop tools and chemicals, maintain workshop security and tools at the end of each shift.
Qualifications: Previous experience in a relevant fitter or technician role. Proficient in workshop health and safety practices, able to work independently, manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in using computer systems for accurate record-keeping.
