Location: Meyer House Care Home, 28 Meyer Road, Erith DA8 3SJ
Contracted hours: Casual, as-needed basis. Work flexibility in accordance with your availability and the service requirements.

We’re seeking a reliable and flexible Cook/Chef to join our bank staff team. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible work, with shifts available to cover annual leave, staff absence, and increased demand.

Responsibilities
- Preparing menus and agreeing them with the residents and the manager, including any resident preferences, special diets and specific foods as needed.
- Preparing and serving all meals in a timely manner.
- Maintaining the safety and hygiene of the kitchen environment.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements on food hygiene, storage and temperature control.
- Supporting the kitchen team and liaising with colleagues from other departments.
- Operating an efficient stock control system.
