Fullstack Javascript Developer (React, Nodejs)

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Developer to join our small, tight-knit tech team and help us change the lives of more dogs by building and maintaining innovative solutions as we rapidly scale.

Role Responsibilities

– Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable software using React, NodeJS, and TypeScript

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Customer Delight, troubleshoot, support, and ship new features

– Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions

– Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability

– Implement robust security measures and data protection protocols

– Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends

– Mentor junior developers, fostering their growth and skill development

Key Requirements

– Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience

– Strong proficiency in React, NodeJS, and TypeScript

– Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms

– Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools

– Understanding of CI/CD principles and practices

– Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

– Higher Education (Degree, HND or HNC) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience

– Must be UK-based with the right to work in the UK
