Diet Paratha is hiring a Communications & Projects Manager (Freelance). We're looking for an organized, flexible all-rounder to support the next stage of our growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, small business environment. As a small team, no two days are the same and the role requires someone who is comfortable moving between strategic, creative and operational tasks as priorities shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform & Communications
- Own newsletters and email communications, from planning through to send-out
- Maintain tone of voice and editorial quality across all communications
- Own the upkeep and accuracy of the Diet Paratha website
- Own and grow Diet Paratha's LinkedIn presence, including content planning and posting
- Support wider communications planning and reporting where required
- Content & Story Development
- Contribute ideas for platform features and stories
- Help shape content with a clear creative and cultural point of view
- Track emerging stories, voices and cultural moments relevant to the platform
- Represent Diet Paratha at selected events, supporting on-the-ground storytelling and platform visibility
- Campaigns, Productions & Projects
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of launches, partnerships, events, productions and special projects
- Translate ideas into clear briefs, timelines, decks and production documentation
- Develop and manage schedules, call sheets and project plans for shoots and events
- Own project timelines, dependencies and stakeholder management from inception through to delivery
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, partners and collaborators, ensuring projects are delivered smoothly and to a high standard
- Contribute ideas and planning for partnerships, launches and activations
- Community & Programmes
- Own communications and coordination for mentoring programme and community initiatives
- Manage communications with participants, contributors and collaborators
Must Haves
- 3β5 years' experience in an agency or media company
- Strong project and/or account management skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Exceptionally good at keeping track of moving parts and following things through
- Strong deck-writing and presentation skills
- Comfortable owning newsletters and email communications from planning through to send-out
- Comfortable updating website content and managing communications channels, including LinkedIn
- Experience creating briefs, timelines and production documentation
- Comfortable working directly with clients, partners and collaborators
- Resourceful, proactive and good at figuring things out
- Genuinely curious about culture, storytelling and creative work
