As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in Diesta's continued growth by managing the complete enterprise sales lifecycle, from generating new opportunities through to negotiating and closing new business. This is a true 360° sales role. You will be responsible for building your own pipeline through proactive business development activities, while also managing inbound opportunities generated through Diesta's growing market presence.
Working closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, Pre‑Sales Engineering, Product and Delivery teams, you will engage with senior stakeholders across the insurance industry, understand their business challenges and demonstrate how the Diesta platform can transform their finance and payment operations. This role is ideally suited to someone with two to five years' experience in enterprise B2B SaaS sales who is looking to accelerate their career within a fast‑growing technology company.
Key Responsibilities- Own the full enterprise sales lifecycle, from prospecting and qualification through to commercial negotiation, contract signature and handover to the Delivery team.
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, email campaigns, industry events and cold calling.
- Develop and grow strategic relationships with senior decision‑makers, including CFOs, Finance Directors, COOs, CIOs, Operations Directors and other C‑suite stakeholders.
- Identify customer challenges and business objectives through structured discovery, positioning Diesta as a trusted advisor and strategic technology partner.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions, working with internal stakeholders to deliver commercially successful outcomes.
- Work closely with the Pre‑Sales Engineering, Product and Delivery teams to develop compelling solution strategies and ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Build, maintain and accurately manage a healthy sales pipeline using a structured sales methodology and CRM platform.
- Develop strategic account plans for target customers, identifying key stakeholders, growth opportunities and long‑term account strategies.
- Represent Diesta at conferences, exhibitions, networking events, webinars and customer meetings, helping to build the company's market profile and generate new opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on campaigns, thought leadership, events and account‑based marketing initiatives.
- Develop compelling business cases and ROI propositions that clearly demonstrate the value of the Diesta platform.
- Achieve and exceed individual annual new business revenue and sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline reporting and CRM records.
- Provide customer insights, competitor intelligence and market feedback to help influence Diesta's product roadmap and commercial strategy.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Diesta's sales methodologies, commercial playbooks and sales processes.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Diesta, consistently demonstrating professionalism, integrity and a customer‑first approach.
- Support and mentor future members of the commercial team as Diesta continues to expand.
- Two to five years' experience in a B2B SaaS sales role with a proven track record of winning new business.
- Experience managing complex sales opportunities from prospecting through to contract signature.
- Demonstrable success in generating your own pipeline through outbound business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to engage confidently with senior business leaders and C‑suite executives.

- Experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, including insurers, brokers or MGAs.

- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics.
