Our client is looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join their expanding audit and assurance team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, lead audit teams, and work closely with partners to deliver high-quality audit services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors
  • Plan, lead, and review audit assignments from start to finish
  • Manage audit budgets, deadlines, and resourcing
  • Lead, coach, and develop Audit Seniors and junior staff
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships
  • Review statutory accounts and ensure compliance with UK GAAP / IFRS
  • Identify business risks and provide value-adding recommendations
  • Support partners with business development and proposal work

Requirements

  • ACA / ACCA qualified
  • Significant experience in external audit within practice
  • Proven experience managing audit assignments and teams
  • Strong technical accounting and audit knowledge
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
