Our Retained Client are looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to start on a 3 month contract ASAP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, offering guidance on disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management matters.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee/lead the recruitment process, including job advertising, competency based interviewing, IT setup, and deliver onboarding and induction programmes.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and work with Managers to develop and deliver relevant training initiatives, particularly for management and staff.
  • Performance Management: Manage performance reviews, appraisals, and the development of personal improvement plans. Work with Managers to address any underperformance issues, develop training and development plans, issue letters and warnings, and provide appropriate support.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure compliance with UK employment law, health and safety regulations, and company policies, with a focus on transportation regulations, working hours, and driver-related issues.
  • Oversee HR Administration: Maintain accurate records for all employees, including contracts, job descriptions, right to work, driving licences etc.

The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified, and used to working in a fast paced environment, ideally in the transport sector. The role is for 3 months but is likely to extend.

This role will interview on the 22nd and 23rd of December to start on the 29th of December or the 5th of January. Candidates MUST be available to start on these dates. The role is onsite and is based in Astley.
