SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION: The Financial Analyst role is responsible for all reporting within the business, ensuring all key business users have the information they need to make decisions. The reports are produced in a timely manner and are clear and concise. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Developing and maintaining data collection procedures * Analysing complex data using software such as Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Excel and/or Microsoft Access * Determining trends or changes in the data * Producing accurate forecasts based on previous data samples * Producing detailed reports that can also be readily understood * Recommending areas for change or improvement, based on inferences made from the data * Keeping up to date on industry-wide, national and international data trends related to the business KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED * Microsoft Dynamics Business Central * Microsoft Power BI * Microsoft Excel advanced user * SAP Business Objects * Excellent communication and interpretation skills * Excellent numerical and analytical skills * Knowledge of advanced statistical models, graphs and databases * The ability to interpret data and offer recommendations based on that interpretation. * Proficiency in computer programs and data analysis tools * Ability to distinguish between reliable and unreliable data * Excellent attention to detail
