Commercial Analyst

SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION:\\n\\nThe Commercial Analyst role is responsible for all reporting within the business, ensuring all key business users have the information they need to make decisions. The reports are produced in a timely manner and are clear and concise.\\n\\nMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\\n\\n * Developing and maintaining data collection procedures\\n\\n * Analysing complex data using software such as Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Excel and/or Microsoft Access\\n\\n * Determining trends or changes in the data\\n\\n * Producing accurate forecasts based on previous data samples\\n\\n * Producing detailed reports that can also be readily understood\\n\\n * Recommending areas for change or improvement, based on inferences made from the data\\n\\n * Keeping up to date on industry-wide, national and international data trends related to the business\\n\\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED\\n\\n * Microsoft Dynamics Business Central\\n\\n * Microsoft Power BI\\n\\n * Microsoft Excel advanced user\\n\\n * SAP Business Objects\\n\\n * Excellent communication and interpretation skills\\n\\n * Excellent numerical and analytical skills\\n\\n * Knowledge of advanced statistical models, graphs and databases\\n\\n * The ability to interpret data and offer recommendations based on that interpretation.\\n\\n * Proficiency in computer programs and data analysis tools\\n\\n * Ability to distinguish between reliable and unreliable data\\n\\n * Excellent attention to detail\\n\\nThe role is part time and can be performed around school hours or 4 days a week. 2 days at home
