Our client is currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity for a confident and organised individual with strong credit control experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing customer accounts and maintaining accurate ledgers
- Proactively chasing outstanding debt by phone and email
- Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries
- Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts
- Producing aged debt reports and supporting month-end activities
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of issues
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and within a team
- Good IT skills, including accounting systems and Excel
