Our client is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing audit and assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of audit assignments, support junior staff, and work closely with managers and partners across a varied client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Prepare and review statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP/IFRS
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of audit juniors
- Act as a key point of contact for clients during audits
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and professional standards
Requirements
- ACA / ACCA qualified or finalist
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in external audit within practice
- Strong technical accounting and audit knowledge
- Experience leading audits and supervising junior staff
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office
