We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing and dynamic accountancy practice seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their expanding team. This is a varied and rewarding role, offering exposure to a wide range of clients and services, along with excellent benefits and flexibility.
The Role
- As an Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services.
- Responsibilities will include:
- Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns for a diverse client portfolio
- Preparation of financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Corporation tax computations
- Self-assessment tax returns
- Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc accounting and advisory work
- Assisting with payroll where required
The Ideal Candidate
- AAT qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within practice
- Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload
