Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Blackburn, is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Liaising with tenants, landlords, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc accounting duties
The Successful Candidate
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role or similar
- Property sector experience is essential
- Strong working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
