Our client is currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity for a confident and organised individual with strong credit control experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing customer accounts and maintaining accurate ledgers
  • Proactively chasing outstanding debt by phone and email
  • Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries
  • Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts
  • Producing aged debt reports and supporting month-end activities
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of issues

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team
  • Good IT skills, including accounting systems and Excel
