About You: As an experienced Product Manager, you’re passionate about driving growth and cultivating strong vendor partnerships in a fast-paced retail distribution ecosystem. Take ownership of your portfolio and deliver outstanding results through proactivity, strategic execution and operational excellence. Hybrid working based in Kurnell, Sutherland Shire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies to maximise sales, growth, and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and retailers, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Manage pricing programs, promotions, and price protection, including publishing pricelists for customers and internal teams.
- Acquire, develop, and maintain customer accounts to drive business opportunities.
- Analyse forecasts to optimise revenue while minimising stock risk.
- Oversee revenue, margin, rebates, accruals, and claims for your portfolio.
- Manage inventory, forecasting, and ordering processes to achieve business goals.
- Collaborate with internal Retail Account Managers and stakeholders to identify and drive new opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with Australian regulatory requirements for all vendor products.
- Prepare and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and provide updates on business performance.
- Mentor and train Junior Product Managers and Assistant Product Managers.
Skills & Experience:
- Essential: Retail/consumer product management and distribution experience.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills with a vendor and customer focus.
- Proven ability to deliver results and go the extra mile to achieve business objectives.
- Highly proactive with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service capabilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to implement process efficiencies and support team collaboration.
